Ah yes, I noticed that when reading through the forums sideways, but I thought i'd get them anyway. The next cheapest ones I could find were $50... So I bought them knowing I'd have to do extra to it, which I'm happy to do considering it was only $10. The bearings can be replaced as well so I'm not fussed. The tyres wearing out is the only problem I guess I can't change which is a bummer :/ But at least they can be used for a bit.

Do you have any tips on how to reinforce the hub area sideways?

Thanks,

Shane

I bought a pair of those wheels/tires from harbor Freight. They did not last me a day on my kart. I am not lieing, the tire got so worn down that it was about to pop on me. And i had just bought the tires. So i returned them the next day and got a full refund. I would not recommend this tires. I would say save and get some better tires!

Hey guys, its been a while busy with other things but I've moved forward on the kart and here's some pics of what I've done so far. Starting to look more like a Go kart.

Cheers,
Shane

Are your a-arms just band steel? If so, they are going to bend whenever they hit a bump. They need some lateral strength.
