there was a similar post on here but some guy was going off about engine internals n what not. cant i just let it breathe and gear it out a little bit? im lookin for maybe 30 mphbut still a bit of tourque ? im about 215, i just want to carry me n a cooler of brewhas. please gimme any advice or links that you can, i tried google but im pretty sure its gone full retard. thank you for your time! btw way its the subaru motor

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking to do. Are you looking to build a kart? If so, then it's good to know if you want one prebuilt, from a kit or from scratch. It also helps to know what style of kart you want. Please be a little bit more articulate in your next response.

sorry, I bought a fox hyper kart, it pegs out at like 13 or 14 miles n hour but i can tell it wants to go faster, i just want a higher top speed, its just to fly down the bike trails to my friends house all summer, i live in a city but theres plenty of paved trails i just need to be able to dust a bicycle co...err a person on a bicycle or a horse... its the subaru 125cc motor and it has the centrifigual clutch. im mechanically inclined but have very little small motor experience.

A 125cc subaru will probably not be enough engine to pull 200+ and a kart 30 mph

Yeah i would try to find a 212cc preditor or 8 hp engine

Post some pics of your kart, as well as the sprocket tooth count on the clutch as well as the axle. We can maybe just change the gearing a bit to get you going, but we need to know what you have
