I kind of like the look using a wagon so I have decided this would be a good 1st attempt.
I wanted to de every thing the hard way so this is the plan.
Front engine with a rear drive. I have an old frame I plan to cut up and re arrange. Also a 69 Briggs

How do you plan to get the power from the engine at the front to the wheels at the back? Chains that length tend to be problematic, belts stretch & slip & shafts tend to be expensive.

I'm not trying to "harsh your buzz" (what?), just curious

I plan to use a jack shaft to get it in line with the wheel and a tensioner sprocket like off a tandem bicycle to help keep everything snug
Don't know if it's gonna work but that's the plan

Or how about this, have it front wheels drive and steer with the back. I think that that's what I'm going to do for my next small build, just to try something different.

My mini jeep has a front engine and a long chain to the back. I've never had problems with it. Chain guide must be useful.

So, basically, a reverse go kart. That could be interesting

I'd be very interested in how it handles because it would be getting pulled around corners instead of pushed. The wheels might return to straight better as well because they are trailing.
