1980 Honda cr80r elsinore, 80cc for gokart?

Would a 1980 Honda cr80r elsinore 80cc motor work for a gokart? Maybe about 4-500lbs of gokart and rider?
Theres one for sale not far from me for $55... I wouldnt think it will be for sale long, any information would be great.
