1972 Briggs 3hp Throttle

Sorry if this has been covered... I searched and couldn't find anything with a carb that looked liked mine.

My only experience with these flathead's is with this one but also pretty new to small engines anyhow. I'm trying to figure out how to hook up a throttle to this and I assume its as easy as hooking a cable up from A to B, and a more robust return spring? thanks

Here’s the linkage on my 3 horse Briggs. I think it’s correct, it runs fine. Although it might not be 100% accurate because it was taken apart and put back together by a high school small engines class
