I picked up a hisun 196cc. (i was told it was a predator but its not)
I can't get a predator for some time until they get restocked.
But I need something the make the engine brackets.
with that said

Is there enough parts for this engine? its for my kids so i'm not worried for now about making decent power. its looks very similar i know its a clone as well but are most the parts the same IE upgrades such as carb stage 1 and small mods?
i see its a 5/8 bore not 3/4.

does anyone know the thread pitch for the crank bolt?

How do you keep the clutch in place without set screws? if the clutch is 3 inches wide but the shaft is 3.5 a bolt will stop it from coming off but not from moving. I dont see massive washers being used.

As far as I know, most if not all of those clone engines are made by Lifan then branded by whatever company buys them. Similar engines to the Hisun are available from a few small engine vendors. Many of the parts are interchangeable among the different brand names also.

The clutch should be keyed to keep it from rotating on the crankshaft along with the crankshaft bolt. Pretty sure this is a standard thread size for the 3/4" shaft.

Shaft I.D. Thread Size
5/16"-24 Drilled and Tapped
