Moved to Florida (back to where I was born) and met a guy that had a drift kart. Got me to ride it and now I'm hooked. Got one more friend into it and now we just finished building our first one this week. The one with the helmet is mine, 5.5 Briggs. Cheetah print one is a 5 Briggs (I'm not sure). The purple one has a Predator 212 in it. Finally, the most recent one we painted red with copper accents has a Predator 212 on it too.

Pretty neat. Get thinner tires and you can drift without adding those silly plastic add-ons.

That's the wrong kind of kart for drifting. Sidewinder karts, with the engine in the middle or on the side, are meant to stick to the road especially with those wide sticky tires.

Rear engine karts with skinny (hard) tires do almost nothing but go sideways through turns.
