Just upgraded to a 40 series torque converter and I shattered the drive sprocket. It was a 9 tooth sprocket. will the 10 tooth be a stronger option? I have plenty of power to handle the gear ratio change. Running a 54 tooth on the axel, considering changing to a 40 just for fun.:cheers2:

The 10 tooth will be thicker around the shaft, so yes, it's most likely stronger. BUT that's not to say anything about the quality of the sprocket being bought. Made in the USA only, when I buy sprockets. The chances of better quality on the heat treating is 10 fold.....
EDIT
I wouldn't go more than 46-48.....

little torquey there? The sprockets with the teeth in the middle and a little extra on each side are the best, not the ones with the teeth on one side of the sprocket.
