I am needing help finding a 1" clutch that engages at very low rpm's
i have burned thru 4 clutches and it's getting insanely expensive

can anyone point me to a 1" bore #41 clutch that engages around 800rpm ?

I have already contacted HILLARD and all they do is put me on hold never to talk to anyone that can help

Any help would be appreciated

Why do you think a lower engagement will save clutches? what is the idle rpm and max rpm of that engine? i'd find it hard to believe that it idles as low as 800rpm, let alone lower. what is your gear ratio? with as much torque as that produces, you may need a torque converter.

contact Jim Donovan at maxtorque.com

I'm fairly certain he can provide you with a clutch for your needs,
(custom made for your needs)

this certainly comes at a price, but frankly.. it might be cheaper than a weekly bought $20 clutch in the long run ;)

BTW:
Hilliard extreme duty (or Fury) reach down to 830 with green springs..
springs are available at mfgsupply.com

But if they aren't able to tell you that.. what's the point in supporting them?

IMHO: Maxtorque!

Could you send some pictures of the throttle setup you have on the Diesel.
Im using a similar engine on one of my projects, and still need to figure that one out.
