Here's just a short clip of one of the first test rides after I finished building it. It took about 4 months to build from scratch. The whole project was planned, designed and made by myself, including the chassis, steering and 'hot rod flamed' bodywork. Hope you enjoy and feel free to comment and subscribe for more. I think it looks great. Good job. Now you just have to setup a bunch of cones in the court to have a little mini race course.

It has been geared to just under 1:5 and it's a de-restricted 6.5hp clone so honestly I'd be looking at about 35mph+ but i'll let you know. A bigger place to try it out would be great though. My last homemade kart managed to hit 55mph just down my stretch of road (not the stretch of road on the video mind you), although that was a 13hp motorbike engine haha

wow you do some great work!!! just need a floor in that trike haha.. i learned the hard way by putting my foot down to stop, flinstone style, and it hurt

Thanks mate, yeh very true. Well that kart isn't in use any more, had to make room for my new one. It's a real shame to see it go, although I've kept the engine so you never know, a re-build may be in order one day. Was only 15 at the time, so I'm sure if I re-built it, i'd do a much better job this time round and yes with a decent floor board haha.
