Looks like a good deal to me too. Obviously needs some work. Front tires and a hack saw to that bumper. I can't tell or remember what exactly that is errr...was but it is an older "classic kart" late sixties maybe.
Keep us updated when you get it home:thumbsup:

I picked it up. I ended up getting two running motors and a couple sets of wheels. The wheels and extra motor was not in any of the pics.

I'll upload a couple pics tomorrow morning.

Anyone know the make or model? So far I haven't found anything on the frame to reference.

Chancer, you think it's from the late sixties huh? That's pretty cool. I'll do some more research tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks

Edit: Just found this video with a kart that looks just like it. Is it a Clark Go Kart 446 Rebel??

It bears some resemblence to the possible Fox being discussed in another thread.
It's definitely been goobered up over the years, whatever it is!

Yes, the bar is funky. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

The motor mounted on the kart now is 212. It started on the second pull. It has a total run time of 1 hour. It looks brand new. A local pressure washing company uses the motors and must have them branded slightly different than HF? It is an older model maybe 6 years old?

The second motor is a pressure washer motor from sears? It started on the 5-6th pull with the help from some starter fluid.

It also came with the original tires and a couple sets of other wheels and tires.

The brake cable is broken and so is the throttle linkage on the 212. I'm going to have to make a bracket for the throttle linkage. So really not a lot to make it go.

Plan on building a seat for it and painting it.

I'll look for the fox thread. From all the stuff I'm finding it looks like a clark rebel I'm still not sure of the model. Someone has to know?

Thanks

Whatever it is, the pedals are on backwards, and should be switched. Flip them 180 degress and switch the 'gas' with the 'brake'

Looks similar to the one in the current thread asking about "Is this a simplex"
Sweet deal.
