You gotta be freaking kidding me. Y'all want me to believe that story? I'd like to see that thing authenticated. I'm supposed to believe 56-year-old rubber tires will still hold air? No mention of whatever happened to the "little boy", or who he was to the seller, or how the seller procured the kart?

You gotta get up a little earlier in the morning to put one over on me...

I don't think they're HF tires, but there's no way they are "ORIGINAL GOODYEAR TIRES" at 56 years old, and having driven "ALL OVER SOUTH PHILLY AND SOUTHERN NJ BACK ROADS AND FARMS" and yet they are not horribly worn...

I think they are Goodyear- does HF sell Goodyear? but I don't think the above claims are quite true.

they dont sell goodyear, but if you look at the hub and tread it looks stringly simmilar, and it dosent take but a machine to make grooves in tires

Really- the only way that thang's worth $10K is if you managed to insure it for that much, and then burnt it to the ground.

Caveat emptor. If anyone is actually dumb enough to lose $10K on something like that, well- they deserve to lose $10K. The sad part is that anyone in a position to lose $10K on that clearly has enough money to not care that he just got raped for $10K... Now that I mention it, I REALLY want the buyer's phone number!

Hey guys! Build-Off's coming soon!!!!! :)

"BUT AGAIN THOSE GREAT NEIGHBORES CAME TO THE RESQUE"
"BRIGG AND STRANTON ENGINE"
"DRIVE TRANE"

If i was trying to scam people into buying a go kart id atleast check for spelling and authenticity...(Brigg and Stranton????)

"AFTER A TRAGIC ACCIDENT THIS LITTLE GUY TURNED HIS ATTENTION TO BUILDING THIS GO KART HIS DREAM"

Like what blue said how would he be able to build a kart after a tragic accident...what kind of accident was this?

"BUT AGAIN THOSE GREAT NEIGHBORES CAME TO THE RESQUE AND CHIPPED IN SO THAT THE LITTLE GUY COULD SEE HIS DREAM COME TRUE AND IT DID"

Must of been his neighbors..(the WWII vets and the Philadelphia navy) haha

*Addendum

In the tragic accident little Johnny lost his hands. Shortly afterwards he got some of those teeth like Jaws had in James Bond and used those to cut all the pieces.

As evidenced by the 1/8" plywood sides and sharp corners on the metal parts, little Johnny couldn't afford proper materials or tools and all those WWII vets that cared so much about his dream didn't care about his safety in the least.

As you can see by the tread left on the rear tire, little Johnny didn't use the bent door hinge scrub brakes at all even though he seemingly drove this kart hundreds of miles. Due to the loss of his hands he steered with his feet and dragged his arm stubs on the ground when he needed to stop. No one knows how he accelerated.

When the fire occured it wasn't hot enough to burn the "Main Frame" (it says that) which consists of some sort of lumber which you can see through the (lack of) grille. It was so hot it melted little Johnny's bag of gummy worms and made him sweat a little.

Johnny eventually decided to mount the windshield leaning into the wind (those great 50's aerodynamics) but later decided a random strip of wood would be more classy and effective. He also decided to spend the time fabricating parts to mount a speedometer, lights, etc. but then threw them out for whatever reason.

Johnny contracted tetanus from trying to cut rusty steel with his teeth and died.

As a side note, anyone want to make an offer for it? I think 99 cents is the minimum. :roflol:
