$0 Budget build

Well the neighbor boy said he wanted a mini bike, but he's got no money. He found an engine and some old mini bike parts at a local scrap yard, a bed frame, took the wheels off my HF hand truck, and since I have the metal working tools he set up in my garage. here's what he's built so far.

looks good but youll need to triangulate that bed frame up to the regular frame or reinforce it somehow because it twists alot and youll throw the chain

You have really done some good work. You should be proud of yourself.

He finished his mini bike, and took off down the road. The only thing that didn't come out of the scrap pile was the axles, and dolly wheels. But it came out nice for what it is.

Ya it's got a drum brake. as part of the sprocket.

well it runs great BUT i got 2 nasty burns from the head fins on my leg. BTW the seat will be upgraded

I'd say wear pants while riding, but you're in AZ. I'd still recommend it, anyway. It's better than bare skin sliding against the pavement.

well at 12:00 i was pulled over by the pima county police who proceded to tell me i cant drive on the road

thats crap. stupid cops. out were i live in the contry the only people that have yelled at me to not drive on the road were neighbors. but i just keep on driving.

That suck about the cops. I live out in the country, but when the cops try to pull me over I hit the feilds and make my way home. One guy got a ticket for $1200 for riding his kart on the gravel road, plus he wasn't wearing a helmet.
