ya i understand that. how would you "disengage and re-engage" between the two though? so are they belts so that it lowers weight? why wouldnt you want to go chains and sprockets? i feel youd lose a ton of power off the line with belt. or maybe belt for higher gear but chain for lower. or maybe...
