I picked up a 8hp tec. out of an old snow blower. Of course it doesn't have a air filter at all. I am putting it on my kids go kart and need a filter. What kind of filter will work. I am limited on room cause the kart has a fiberglass body.

Try to get the gearing around 10 to 1. Top speed will be around 50 or so. You will have to run a double jackshaft. 10 tooth to a 20 and a 10 tooth to a 50

Put a rear swing arm on it. You'll be much happier

Reliable go karts. They have hammerhead Carter and a few others but you can buy just about everything except the main frame. Let me know if u find it. If not I can send u the link. I have it saved on my other computer.

it's the rush from 0-50 i'm after. When they see my hammerhead first thing they ask me is "how fast is it". I tell them it only goes about 50, but it does it in 50 feet!

Hammerhead gt250, rotax 583 and polaris gearbox f-n-r with high low. still tweeking it right now i'm moving the radiator from the back and putting up high behind my the seats. It will smoke the tires with 2 adults in it. top speed is about 50 in high gear and 30 in low. It's very quick!

Yea 100hp hammerhead. 583 rotax and a gearbox off a Polaris scrambler fnr high low. It will smoke the tires on pavement with two adults in it. Its quick!

DuroMax 6.5 HP Gas Engine Go Kart 6.5HP Electric Start $229. There are alot of these on ebay all the way up to 16hp. does anyone know if they are any good?

I found his go kart the other day and have never seen one like it, so I bought it for my kid for 200 bucks. I couldn't find anything like it on line. Could anyone tell me any information about it.
