Oh okay. I have been trying to find the factory location of how it was hooked up as well.. I've had no luck. Even watched a ton of YouTube videos but not a single one shows it. Just my luck lol

So putting a spring there.. Do you know of a safe spot to attach the spring on the left side? If you need another picture I can do that. Not sure if this one is good. Or any others I've posted

Didn't think about that.. Don't have one laying around. Was trying to think of something I could borrow a spring from. Don't think I have anything... I got a very old push mower lol. But that's about it lol

I'm pretty sure that spring is the governor spring. I've been trying to figure out the model number. I'm not sure but I think it's 1P52F (probably wrong)

Oh okay. I'm guessing I leave the spring that's already there. Other end is connected to where you rev the engine (sorry not sure what it's called) however when I look up what that spring us called it says throttle extension spring

Oh okay. By any chance would you know what springs would work? I do have some but they aren't strong enough to pull the lever back down when letting off the gas pedal. Also are you saying put a spring in these

My knowledge is very low with any of this. Lol. I'm still learning. But idk if the linkage or gov has anything to do with it.. Could be wrong. All I know is when I let off the gas pedal the trottle cable doesn't retract all the way like it should. Which acts like you're pushing the pedal down...

Thanks for the pic. Yeah I did loosen the nut on the pivot. Still didn't stop the kart from moving after releasing the gas pedal

I did add a spring. Which didn't do anything unfortunately.. I'm not sure where or what nut for the pivot is 🤦‍♂️ sorry

Update. So now I'm still having the same issue even after fixing the throttle pedal. I let off the pedal kart doesn't set at idle. Keeps going. I noticed to get it to set at idle I have to pull the throttle cable towards the back of the kart. Anyone know how to fix this?

Haha idk seems like you guys know a lot. Do you know where they would go? I'm not seeing/understanding exactly where springs would go.. Afraid I'll mess something up putting them wherever lol.. Also to find the correct springs. I just find any spring that will fit I'm guessing on the throttle bar?

Thank you for your reply.. Yeah thats why I haven't driven it yet. Because my kill switch isn't working. Not sure why.. But I've been looking for what it's missing and how to fix the stuck Throttle had no luck yet. I had a feeling it was missing springs. But not sure where to get those or the...
