Its a 5 hp engine. I just wasnt sure it a 3.33:1 ratio (12 teeth to 40 teeth) would burn up the clutch.

Does anyone have an opinion on a 12 tooth clutch sprocket turning a 40 tooth drive sprocket with 8" - 10" tires? Looking for top speed but don't want it to be too slow off the line; should i go with a 60 tooth? Thanks, E
