Almost ready for bodywork on my build but concerned that with 6x11kg 36Ah SLAs weight will come in at 140kg/300lbs! Running 5.3:1 and 14" tyres on the back will it have enough torque/power?

Wow they're cheap there! Even though I work in DC lot tax and shipping are very expensive, plus I wouldn't know how to be safe wiring them up and using/charging them.

Exactly the same weight as me then, and a cracking top speed! My buggy looks a little lighter than yours and comes in at around 220lb with batteries so I should be ok for speed :)

Ahh, yes it's bigger than it looked in the first photo. Any idea on final weight and top speed with the 2 of you on it? Also guessing g you're quite light if estimated weight is 300ish lbs, looks around 180lbs without you?
