Does this look like it was intended to be keyed, but was welded instead to you guys? I'm replacing the chain and belt, possibly the brake disc, and was going to go ahead and disassemble/clean the rest up and check/replace the bearings as well, not that I've tried very hard at this point, but...

Seems fairly heavy duty compared to a lot of the stuff I've seen online trying to figure out anything about this Kart. I'm assuming the double flanged piece should slide off the axle rod? Bearings underneath maybe?

I won't argue with that JT, he'll have to grow into it. I haven't seen it move yet (Had the wrong replacement belt on it). That will be interesting to see once the new belt comes in. Adding a throttle stop would be simple enough of a solution to that problem for now.

I think it started its life Orange-ish with yellow seats.

Curious if anyone can help me identify what kind of Kart this is. Thinking about buying it from my neighbor for my 9 yr old. He’s put a Predator 420 and a 40 Series clutch on it and replaced the brakes that needed to be replaced again. Unfortunately he kept it outside in the Texas heat/humidity...
