Couldn't get the brake drum off......one side is attached, so it won't come off until I yank the "clover hub". Which might be never, as she's planted on there right good. The drum itself doesn't look trashed, but was held on with some old, rusty, bent nails. We were able to get those out, and...

Can we heat the axle hot enough if we just use the small butane torch? Or do I need to drag my big dog over from the house, you think?

Hey - thanks for all those great tips! I think the chain is going to clean up and be serviceable; it's not great but I believe that it will work for what we're going to do. Not sure how to oil the clutch, but I'll look into it now. You are most definitely correct about the sticky throttle...

Got the new air cleaner assembly in place; she feels so complete! No throttle cable yet - but hey....we'll take what we can get! I can tell we're going to be in need of a new brake shoe. Are those all a standard size? We didn't yank the brake assembly yet, but it's on the list. I'm guessing...

Tires should be here any day now.... Air filter assembly on the way. Brakes and throttle cable need some loving.....so that's where we're at right now.
