    35HP Kart Build

Awesome! I've never sleeved a block. I can see it protrudes a bit. Are you going to have to polish that lip off?

How are the bearings and hubs supposed to be set in the spindle?!?

Thanks guys. I bought 4 different kind of bearings and realized I had mismatched hubs. That's why the castle net wouldn't fit, the wheel came off and none of the new bearings fit. I ordered the correct hub which comes with the new bearings and dust seals. It all makes sense now. Thank you...

Carbide "Reverse" Front Wheel Hub Question

After buying ~20 different bearings on 2 different orders I discovered that I have mismatched, not stock hubs on this used buggy. I'm just going to buy 2 new full hubs and go from there. Once I sat them side by side I see that one had different internal bearing sizes. That's why the wheel came...

How are the bearings and hubs supposed to be set in the spindle?!?

I have a cart with bearings that have failed. I am not re-assembling it right or I'm missing parts. Not sure. Thoughts? ---------- Post added at 07:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:09 PM ---------- There is literally nothing to keep the wheel onto the spindle.

    Spider carts Grand Daddy build

Oops. I was looking at the rear member. On a car, with a non locked differential, yours would twist like a pretzel. I forget that our buggies don't have differentials. Nothing twists back there. Sent from my BND-L34 using Tapatalk

Twist in the rear will be alright? (Otherwise looks great) Sent from my BND-L34 using Tapatalk ---------- Post added at 02:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:39 PM ---------- Also buy a big pack of cheap Amazon bushings and some 3/4" tube. I had to do this for silly things like a tire...

    Matt's 150CC buggy thread

I bought this old thing for $800 delivered. It had horrible tires, many bearings were out, reverse isn't working, etc. I have replaced the tires, am replacing wheel bearings, added a light bar, welded and painted brackets for the light bar and plan to clean up everything. I'd like to get it...

    35HP Kart Build

Any other progress on the chassis? I've gone from classic cars, Jeeps, German cars and now I have the buggy bug... I'd like to watch you build this thing. On the brake thing, you could almost grab a pull a part master cylinder from a cheap Japanese car and fab it in for $30. Flaring the lines...

Carbide "Reverse" Front Wheel Hub Question

Wow! Thanks guys! That manual really helped. I found some bushings that were needed for that upper A-arm too. There was only one bearing on that wheel so I think I know the problem... I ordered 2 of each. I assume the other side will fail next. One of the rear wheels can move back and forth so...

Carbide "Reverse" Front Wheel Hub Question

Hi everyone. This is my first time here. I bought this go cart for my daughter and it was used. I've been fixing it up (tires, light bar, etc). I noticed the front right (and rear right) wheel bearings were bad. After a fun run through the woods last night the wheel came off completely. I need...
