After some needed TLC maintenance and fabbing up some brackets to mount a seat so my son could actually see over the steering wheel:thumbsup:, he finally got to take one of them for a spin, I'm pretty sure he didn't stop smiling for hours.

Thanks @bighead, I’ve read a lot of your threads :thumbsup: First thing I need to do is look into adapting a different brake master cylinder and rear brake caliper on these, OEM parts and repair on these things are way to expensive and hard to come by.

Finally got a chance to drop the new Predator 212 into my sons buggy and I'm really impressed how well it goes vs the original 196cc that was in there. We didn't really do much to it except slap a header together, remove the governor and installed an eBay 30 series torque converter. So far I am...

I wanted to also add that a new T/C is probably a better option due to the old set up not having a real smooth face from sitting for a few years and it’s just going to eat belts. I did polish it up the best I could but there is still some pitting. Anyway The boys are having a blast

I assumed the 212cc has a longer stroke than the original 196cc. I’ll probably just order up a new T/C setup, this seems like the cleanest solution, plus I’ll be able to see if the jack shaft from the new T/C will work in the old backing plate and if it does I can just order another jack shaft...
