    Drift style trike

Thanks , not really sure on range as the kids have only been up and down the road on it , but my youngest was on it yesterday for a good half hour without any slowing . It's running a 24v 500 watt motor with 2 12ah batteries and I can't get over how rapid it is !

    Drift style trike

500 watt ,24 v motor and pretty rapid considering ! Was built with cart wheels on the rear , but wouldn't steer without the hard drain pipe type covers on ( which I haven't got ) , so over to old buggy wheels for now !

    Really Slow Yamaha Banshee Build

If you can get 70 ponies out of the engine I'd be very happy with that  The valves apparantly smooth out the power delivery so you don't get that real kick in the pants when it gets into the band .

budget drift style trike with electric motor

Thanks Sid for taking the time reply and I'll probably be better off going down the 500 watts route. It's just that on Ebay in the uk the 500 watt motors seems that much more expensive . I've seen a 300 watt motor on an online scooter shop for the right sort of money but maybe it still won't...

Thanks for the reply , the fact that I can do all of the mechanical work and welding will hopefully save me a few £. I have used the search function and Sid's knowledge on electric motors is something else . Just hoping one of those E bike /scooter motors will suffice . cheers again
