A different route you could take that would still getyou the one-seater you want. Build a single seat for the left side of the cart. On the right side build maybe a center console like thing(Something to hold a bottled water, maybe a sandwhich :D)

Th steering shaft has a bend that causes the whole thing to bind up. And the bend is in a hard to work with place.

I went looking through MFG and all I can seem to find are splitrims. But in other news the kart is primer'd. Tomorrow I load it up to hopefully get a new floorpan welded into place.

Right now ontop of sanding I'm also building up the funds for both the new engine and trying to locate a set of non-split rims if at all possible.

Do any of us know what we are doing? Anyways bought three cans of primer so we can get sanding it down in the next few days if it warms up abit.

Well as I said I'm a nuub when it comes to go karts. I don't remember much of anything from last time I was in one cause we flipped. But if I can get my hands on a solid rim that is affordable I'd prefer to go that route.

Well we beat the tank pretty hard fighting to get the carb off. I'ma see what I can do bout getting it cleaned out with the bowel cleaner.

I don't want them specifically. If there is another kind that will work in their place I'll use them. I was going to use the splits only because that is what is coming off the go kart.

Yeah I had already found the rebuild kits I will be using for the motor and the carb. It'll cost me roughly $30 but my main issue was trying to find the split rims so that link helped ALOT!!
