I flipped the driver around and of course had all kinds of alignment and space issues. To get the driver and driven close, i had to move the chain and sprockets the other side of the motor. Also, found my Jackshaft is bent, so I have another on order. So hopefully, when I get it my buddy to...

I guess that backwards driver is why it bent the jackshaft mount.... just to be sure, with the comet 40, the driven is mounted with spring in and the driver needs to have the moving part outside...right?

I have stuffed 420cc Predator into a old vortex frame, so I am a little cramped for space. I threw this on there just to get the wheels turning, and as you can see, it twisted up pretty good (and quickly lol). Just looking for some ideas for a solid jackshaft mount

Yeah, that arm is useless... I should prob just go ahead and remove it also. I could hook it up like that, but then I would only have about an inch of pedal movement from idle to WOT. What I would like to do is have a full pedal so there has to be a reduction in movement somewhere...

So I stuffed in a 13ho clone into my Manco. I removed the governor assembly and now I need some assistance with the throttle set up. I have attached a picture of the assemble. What is the best way to set up the throttle cable and where to attach a return spring?

so is there a better way to align the engine with the frame and the tav / jackshaft with the engine than to just eyeball it?

I understand what a "clone" is...its just even in real-life "clones" there are always differences which pop up

are the bolt patterns on a predator clone the same as on an actual gx390? I'm gonna have to use aftermarket intake and exhaust to squeeze it into my Manco 616.

It currently as a 5/8" jackshaft but the driven seems to be 3/4"..my (wrong) assumption was that the new driven would be the same as the old one...thus I am now looking for a larger jackshaft I guess
