what are the conditions of the front coilovers? do they bounce or are they stiff? i've worked in the offroad industry for the past 15yrs and our jeepspeed cherokee lost front grip in the baja 250 last year due to a bad coilover.

as the above post states, don't cheap out on bearings,cuz once they seize you will spend more $$ on new ones. 40mm rear axle would be my choice, and depending on budget, comet kart sales has a great selection of margay chassis parts.

i would just add as needed, and looking at the pic. the front tires look kind of worn in the center, probably adding to the problem.

more front weight might help with the front slidding.

working on new seat brackets to be welded as soon as new seat arrives. also installed killswitch.

my plans are to go through and service and the kart, do some practices at my local tracks (Bakersfield kart club and buttonwillow raceway in california), then start racing next season.

i'll do that in the morning and see if it works thanks.

it's a c clutch, 3 disk L&T and didn't clean carb yet.
