Hey thanks for the suggestion and yea that tree is a bit close hahaha. Im working on another kart to screw around with this big one..It is alot smaller but it will have lots of power hehehe. putting the 346cc motor off the one here on the little one. I went and got the 420cc for the big one.

Toystory- To answer your first question no it didn't always feel like that. that first time I took the kart out it felt pretty good but felt like it got sloppy with time.

Hello everyone I have a 346cc Predator engine from harbor freight. It is brand new and has only been run about 2.5 hours. It runs ok but feels like it is bogging down when you give it the gas the accelerate. I was wondering what all is required to install better air intake system and maybe rejet...

420 cc predator should give PLENTY OF POWER. But just from experience you should definetly go with a 40 series TC for full potential. Check out my cart I used a Predator 349cc and have plenty of power. http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=20584

I don't think that the engine is really going to affect the COG because of the shear size of my cart plus the passenger and the front end is quite heavy also.

Update Here are some more pics of the steering and rear end. And no im sorry I do not have a video of me riding it but I can assure you that I have! It will be a two seater and Even with two people in it, It can whip the back end around when you get on the throttle. PLENTY OF POWER!:stir:

update I will get you guys some new pics and I think that the drive is a 349cc motor with a series 40 torque converter to a jackshaft with 10 tooth to a 60 tooth on the axle. Turning 24in tires on back with 20s on front. It still has some reasonable pickup and acceleration.
