i did the valve lash the best i could it didnt seem to fix anything . i reasembled and its still as if the compression stroke is to hard to pull past. its at the point where if i dont pull hard enough if stops it about halfpull and if i pull harder i actually lift the backend of the gokart off...

i thought a clone was another engine like a honda clone? why would i get a 6.5hp engine then buy another engine. maybe my terms are wrong. and would you explain how it would be a better setup?

i have another question, it looks like the cart im looking at is one wheel drive. is it cheap to convert it to both rear wheel drive? is there negatives and positives of this?

what type of speeds will the normal stock 5.5hp give me? what about stock 6.5? upgraded 5.5? how much extra work and money does it generally cost to upgrade all of those?

hmmm there are so many variables in answers i have gotten with the 5 or even 6.5 hp engines. im basically trying to build a kart thats fast on the pavement but can go in some mud/gravel areas on trails and such. on pavement im looking for around 30mph atleast. suggestions? thanks
