    Best CVT for 1” shaft 14hp just getting ideas

    Getting ideas and parts pulled together for a 2 seater kart with a 14hp single cylinder kohler. Getting the output shaft turned down to 1” with a 1/4 key way. Going with a cvt probably 40?? Wondering what cut and sprockets work good together. Rear tires are off the front of a scrap Atv.

    Clutch shaft issue

    Hey I’m just new to forum stuff and I have been following along a bit. I have a 14hp engine with a 1 1/8 output shaft and can’t locate a clutch. Is it possible to put a centrifugal clutch on the driveshaft rather than the output shaft?
