I have a 5hp b&s fun power engine. I unhooked the govenor linkage and lost one of the links, somehow, and now it will not start. Did i remove to much? I removed the link from the carb and the one that runs behind the gas tank. I also removed the lever or whatever it is from under the gas tank...

Is it really bad if my oil is grey. I changed the oil when i got the cart and it was grey. I have not even ride it around at all, it is grey again just from trying to get it running right.

I have a 5hp briggs engine that is having problems starting now after i had it running for a very short period of time. it will start right up with starting fluid, but will not stay running. tried to ajust the idle. cleaned out the gas tank. the carb looks to be clean. anyone have any suggestions.
