    Looking for brake answer.

    Hi guys. The brake drum on my cart measures 4" from side to side. My question is about the brake band. What size do I get..? 4", 4-3/16", 4-1/2"...? Thank you for your help. I believe the one that was on it when I bought the cart was 4-1/2" but not sure. Thank you for your help.

    My ride...

    12 horse Tecumseh with 30 series torque converter...6:1 ratio. Serious torque. Tops out around 40 mph. Not sure of make. Any ideas...?

    Need help on this one...keep blowing off master links..They are usually bent when I find them. On my torque converter the chain and sprocket are all the way to the right without much clearance. Should the chain and sprocket be centered on the converter..? I would then align axle sprocket to...

    gearing question

    My kart has 12 hp, tav2 torque converter, 10 tooth clutch sprocket, 72 tooth drive sprocket, 420 chain. Going to replace drive sprocket. What size would give me good torque with decent speed approx. 40 mph. Thinking of going to 54 tooth drive sprocket. Any input would be appreciated.

    Need help with chain issue

    Is the play in the chain too much in the following pictures..? Chain hangs just a little bit on bottom side of sprocket. Also, does the sprocket look ok..? Thanks for the help.

    Brake band question

    I have a cart with a broken brake band. The brake band eyelet goes over a 1/2" bolt that is welded into the frame. The new band is a 3/8" eyelet. Anybody know of 4" bands with 1/2" eyelets...? Thank you
