Wow, I'm confused. Purchased rolling frame go kart. 14" overall diameter rear wheels, 72 tooth sprocket, #40 (I just recently figured out) came with chain to match. Had a 5hp Tecumseh we hoped to resurrect and use. Purchased a Max Torque clutch for it but then figured out the 12 tooth sprocket...

It appears my new Max Torque clutch (12 tooth) wants a #35 chain while the wheel sprocket/chain are #40, so can you get a 12 tooth Max torque sprocket for a #40 or do I try to get a new wheel sprocket and chain? I'm learning lots.....the hard way it seems. Searching around, nothing really...
