    Surplus center u joints

Has anyone used these? They are speced at 1k max rpm. 15* usable angle. Would 30* of total movement work for a steer axle? How can i calculate the rpm of my axles? My plans involve a 125 dirt bike power pack. And a live front axle with a diff. Anyone have any advise or experience here?

    Possibly a stupid bearing question.

Outstanding. Now i just have to build a new chassis and steeringsetup . The chassis as set up currently has the bearings very close together. Am i correct in my thinking that they shouldbe as close to the wheels as possible? About 2" in from the wheels is my current plan.

    Possibly a stupid bearing question.

Is it possible that i have a metric sized axle? It seems like a portion of the parts are good quality and not home made. Let me try some pictures.

    Possibly a stupid bearing question.

I just picked up a homeade kart with a 1" rear axle. The only bearings i can find online are for 5/8" id. My math is rusty but it seems like they wont fit. Am i missing something obvious or am i not searchimg the right place? Any help would greatly appreciated.
