I am doing to mimic original. There are couple variations and I essentially combined them. It's not needed for rigidity. I would have had to do a decent amount anyway (wheel well and lower sides) so I figured why not go for it! Here are pictures of the real deal.

Rear suspension mostly done, need to make the 4 long links to run from top and bottom of knuckles to the main frame

No I don't do that I just cut and form the insulation board, foam core or therma to shape and tape it together

Thanks, I always just use foam core, 1/8 therma ply or rmat insulation board.

Frame and subframe complete! Now onto rear suspension.

With motor and rear frame connected I can easily pic the front off the ground wheel barrow style using just arms.
