    Adjustable pedals?

I hear ya. I may just go ahead with the centrifugal clutch I have for now and look at upgrading motor and clutch next year. It's not ideal, but I'm running out of time due to the season changes, if I want her to start getting used to the new platform.

    Adjustable pedals?

Oh I believe you, no doubt there. Yeah in hind sight a 212 would have been better considering the torque converter adaptation. Just sucks that there isn't a 5/8 driver in a kit. Yeah I don't an adapter would work well either. I already looked into that. Lol

    Adjustable pedals?

Hahahaha well, ****! Guess I should have started with this forum before buying stuff. Oh well, live and learn. By getting the 3hp, I was generally trying to keep her top speed under control. Lol. Oh well, guess I'll look into the 20 series torque converter. Papa don't need a mini bike...

    Adjustable pedals?

Oh yeah, totally agree. So I have the predator 79cc engine and it has a 5/8 shaft. Looking up torque converters, im having a difficult time finding one. This one says it will work with 5/8 and 3/4 setups, but then contradicts that with the specs. Almost looks like I need to piece this...

    Adjustable pedals?

Yeah I'll try to return it if I can. I'll have to look up a diagram of how it should be set up in my application as well. This will be a much better set up than the centrifugal clutch for sure.

    Adjustable pedals?

Ok my head hurts now after reading about all the different manufacturers and types of torque converters. Yeah I should have just gone with one of those, instead of the centrifugal clutch. Especially after I saw that a gear box could be added, so the granddaughter could have reverse. Lol...

    Adjustable pedals?

Ok, sounds good. Now I also have to look into the type of centrifugal clutch I did buy. Lol.

    Adjustable pedals?

No worries, I don't know ****. So any information is welcome. I'm not sure how to even answer your questions if that helps. I don't know what a 30 series center clutch is. I do plan to limit throttle . My axle sproket is a 35 to match the chain, and the axle sproket is a 60 tooth if that helps

    Adjustable pedals?

Yeah me too. It surprises me how much I like it. That black though, makes it pop! Lol

    Adjustable pedals?

Here is a pic of the tires and the sizes. Crap, forgot to look up how many teeth on the sproket. I think 60? Sigh....

    Adjustable pedals?

Yeah it's a harbor freight sandblasting cabinet that I put on wheels, to help with mobility and storing it. I don't remember the size of the wheels, but I'll go check in a bit. I'm using a 35 chain and sproket. I think the sproket is 10"? I've ordered so much stuff I don't remember now...

    Adjustable pedals?

Well, tha painting of the body is done, a long with some of the attachments. Next will be construction of the moveable pedals and paint. Once that's figured out, dry fit and work on mounting of engine with components.

    Adjustable pedals?

Yeah good point. Regardless, I appreciate the guidance. The granddaughter wanted bright green and black. Well, she wanted it all bright green but I convinced her to have a contrast color. What is white will be satin black. So here is the undercarriage. It gets flipped over and continue...

    Adjustable pedals?

Wow, that's fantastic. Thank you so much for the explanation and visuals. I would have never came up with a simple solution like that. Talk about feeling stupid! Hahaha

    Adjustable pedals?

Here is a better angle of what I have to work with. There is a bolt welded into one one of the side rails that I will now cut off. I think previous owner was trying to do the same thing I am. I much prefer the sled idea for the pedals now that's been presented.

    Adjustable pedals?

Appreciate the effort for attempting to get a picture of your cart to help me along. No hurry on when you get it posted, just having the reference will help immensely. Once the granddaughter got used to the electric jeep and how going fast was fun, that's all it was about. Since she can't go...

    Adjustable pedals?

Interesting. That's a great idea. I was thinking of something like that, but I was concerned that I would weaken the structural integrity since the parallel frame rails are tubular, and not squared.

    Adjustable pedals?

I appreciate your support and words of honest reflection. I should point out that I'm a dad of 6 kids, and 4 granddaughters. I have 2 acres of flat land and have been working with this 4yr old granddaughter under close supervision for over a year on her electric jeep. Which I should point...

Barely! The only good thing is, I'm on the conservative side of the state. I.E. not near Seattle.

Wow, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I think I understand what you're suggesting, I don't suppose you have a picture, for the slow learners like me? Lol
