Like Denny says, it sounds like not all the air passages are clear in your carb. Try cleaning again and make sure all passages are open

Just out of interest....what is the tyre height as well as the axle sprocket tooth count? Not one person has asked you that yet, and it matters. Yes, a TC will work better than a CC, but if you are geared low enough, a CC will work just fine for you if you dont have the money for a TC.

A lot of other parts will have to be replaced to handle the faster speeds. Especially steering and linkage assemblies. People who use ride on mowers as a base for a kart have to do the same thing. Do some research into what they do

Hi all. I don't have any idea if there is going to be a build off this year or not. Robert usually organises everything, but I haven't been able to get hold of him for quite a while. I am not too sure what his situation is like on that side. If I hear anything I will let you all know
