    I am not going to start building the engine for a while, but I will come back when it is time. Do you have any specific parts you suggest using? If the head is 20cc or less should I use it instead of the stock 212 head?

    I find their videos entertaining, but some of the the things they do are very questionable. I wouldn't follow much if any of their advice on fabrication or building engines. Red Beard's Garage has some good walk throughs for building engins.

    I might be able to get the 196 from my old Baja mini bike. I gave it to a friend who wanted to do something with it. I'd probably have to re lap the valves on it though.

    It's hard to tell if you need a new clutch from just looking at it. Since the mill scale is gone its a good assumption that it has been over heated. It sure wouldn't hurt to replace it even if that's not your problem

    I believe he has a centrifugal clutch. The Baja I had had a centrifugal clutch. It sounds like it could be a clutch issue or a carburetor issue
