Back to the head gasket question: I have used those on different engines with good luck. Just be sure the surfaces are clean and flat. You can easily lap your head, actually the engine's, on a piece of glass and some wet (or dry) 180 sand paper.

Here is an update! the custimer took delivery of this near the end of the year. he runs this thing so much, he is on the 3rd set of tires. now the chain is worn out, So much as to be getting noisey. stay tuned for detailed damage assement.

Here is a hydraulic hand (cutting) brake. you can see a hydraulic master (crotch rocket) ,. It can just as esily be attached to a foot pedal. I think once I get the locations permanent I'll eliminate the hose and just use steel line. It's easy to rethread the aluminum caliper for NPT threads...

Yer making too much outta this. I’m in the process of doing the same kinda thing. Get steel brake line, compression fittings, short hoses. Its not rocket surgery. we’re here to help ya figger it out. Edit: if you do not have rear suspension you don't need hoses at all.
