According to my eyecrometer the engine looks twisted. The front of the engine needs to be shifted to the left.

Change the oil to 20w50. Put the stock carb back on and run it until it blows up.

Maybe it needs to be lined up? Use a straight edge across the sprockets.

Not running a breather or an improper one can cause excessive oil consumption.

Try putting the old carb back on to rule out engine problems and narrow down if it’s a carb problem.
