    Now we're cooking with gas!

No, i don't think so. The original bushings are plastic but they don't fit my axle. I am pretty sure it is 1 inch. I'll measure it with my caliper tomorrow

    Now we're cooking with gas!

Im not exactly sure, i had some that were close. If I had to guess it would probably 1 inch od with 1/2 inch ID. The ID I am sure of, but the OD is the guess.

    Now we're cooking with gas!

I am trying to figure something out for front wheels so when the clutch comes in I can take her for a spin. I have some turf saver 2 wheels and tires, but no bushings the right size and bearings won't fit. I was thinking about drilling holes in the rims and using some cnc spindles I have. Would...

    Predator flywheel on flathead Briggs?

I was thinking of getting the stock cam ground to a mild lift. Maybe I'll get it lightened too.

    Predator flywheel on flathead Briggs?

I just wanna do.some minor port smoothing and polish the exaust. Rod and flywheel of course. Maybe shave the eyebrows and get a bit more compression by shaving a few thou off the head. And of course a spicier cam.

    Predator flywheel on flathead Briggs?

I have plans to hop a 5hp up and put it on my mini bike, and hop up a 3hp and mount it up to a bicycle.

Not a Go-Cart, but have a question about an engine often used in them.

People generally use lawn mower batteries, but in the cold weather you'll want to put a maintainer on it. Otherwise those batteries will go bad every season

    Yerf dog questions...

I have never had much success with a band brake on my buggy, but I never really tried all that much. It's getting a 459 predator so I'm gonna go with hydraulic discs on the front and rear. The front is gonna be a bit harder on my buggy, I'm gonna order some 4 wheeler suspension and fab it up in...

    Now we're cooking with gas!

The one I was looking at on Amazon came with a 14t, so I can only assume the ebay one comes with 14t also. Once I get it ordered and here I will look into sprockets and gearing, but for now I'm not gonna get too carried away with speculation. If I'm lucky I might be able to fit a 50 or 52t under...

    Now we're cooking with gas!

10 48 worked well with the 212, but I guess the big blocks are a whole different animal lol. I do have an extra set of axle hangars that came with my bearings from gopowersports, so I have some material to work.with.

    Predator flywheel on flathead Briggs?

He claimed it was a 5hp in his post. If not I do have a 4hp, but he will.have to wait because that engine is in a completely different state (long story)

    Now we're cooking with gas!

What would I be able to do with my gears then? I don't exactly want to modify the frame or include a jackshaft. If it comes down to it I would rather move the axle mount than add a jackshaft.

    Yerf dog questions...

For your hp a band brake is perfect. Those tecumseh engines are junk. Can we get a picture of what your talking about woth the TC?

    Now we're cooking with gas!

Do you whink the 14 tooth will work ok with a 48t and 18 inch tires? A 48t is the biggest I can fit between the axle and frame unless I move the mount down.

    Predator flywheel on flathead Briggs?

If you were closer I'd give ya one lol. I have one that I tore down for parts that had some internal issues. I was saving the cover for if I needed it for another one lol.

Thanks! I didn't even think of looking on ebay. That one is a bit cheaper and with free shipping. It's also exactly what I was looking at. When I get paid I'll have that on the way. Thanks!
