Could use some help with a paint gun

yeah I never got around to wet sanding or buffing it and I only used 80 grit to sand down most ofthe truck before painting it. It would definitely look better if I had, but I saw pics of a paint job with this paint that was wet sanded and buffed and after 2 years it was still shinin'.

    3 speed automatic

this is in theory, a brilliant setup, and you can realisticly change the engagement rpm by changing the spring tension, or the weight of the clutches to conform to the engagement properties that you need, but the dis-engagement is the problem. if you can figure that out, you've got it made. even...

Could use some help with a paint gun

just kicked on to the thread, the paint gun you got is old yes, but dependingon what kind of paint you're spraying, it can work just fine, the tip on there will work great for the old school paints like laquer or like someone else here said about the rustoleum paints in the quart cans, if you...

    homemade key cutting

honestly I think all of your options are in here, If you already have a keyed shaft, you can either try the 4 bladed hacksaw method, or dremel a keyway and then square it off with a file and some spare time (good file=less time) bad file=pissy ol' lady lol

    My Minibike!

where'd you get that carb, I think my stock carb crapped out on my yesterday, it died, and I can only get it to pop now, seems to have plenty of spark, so I figure it's gotta be the diaphragm or the carb, and if I can get a mik for cheap, it'd be better anyhow. thanks

you're right, after seeing your reply I looked up odyssey parts, and i found exactly what I was looking for, I was trying to figure out how the heck to mount the stupid thing, there was a pillow block style bearing tied into a drum brake, which I assume was the parking brake from what I have...

    making my own "dune cycle"

thanks for the reply, I don't really need too much top speed, and in order to come back from the tracks, I have to climb a 100ft hill that's better than a 45 degree slope.

    2speed questions

I was just thinkin of the same type of thing, kind of, bear with me here; for a cart, with enough room; cent clutch on motor driving a jackshaft with a stepped pulley (3 grooves increasing in size) three belts; slack at rest with a similar but reversed pulley on the axle and a manual shifter for...
