fabro unfortunately its not, I have 4 new bearings and carriers ready to mount and will not fit. i even tried putting the 11/4 bearing in the 1 inch carrier. no luck wanting to rebuild the lancer with 1 1/4 axle

when modding these engines, bypassing the gov they are known for blowing the plastic fan and cheap fly wheel apart, be careful on your quest for speed.

whats the step down for? you could always have it milled, that may weaken it if it is a hollow axle.
