I think I may just go tubed. This just doesn't look like a good design that would hold air for an extended period of time. Anyone have a good source for kart tire tubes?

I just got home and looked at the rims I have. There is a rubber o-ring sealing the two halves. Although these are two piece, Its going to take a lot of force to get them apart. They might be sealed at the mating surfaces as well.

Thanks guys. Maybe Ill shoot down to harbor freight and pick up a bead breaker if they give me any difficulty. Always looking for a reason to by another tool.

Sorry. My main consern is how the two halfs will seal at the seem once I put everything back together. I'll be honest, I havent taken the two halfs apart yet so I dont know if there is some rubber membrane there or not. I just cant see how it can hold air unles there is a gasket.

I have some older 2 pc alum wheels that I wouldl like put some new tires on. Is there a tutorial somewhere that explains the process for these 2 piece rims?

Ok. I think I have it. I'm not doing the cam yet. I'm just doing the Stage 1(Air, Fuel, Exhaust) for now. Whats confusing is that the 8* timing key was included with the kit and Im not sure that its needed on a stock engine. Some say to leave the timing alone and others say do it. Thanks...

So would advancing the timing increase throttle response or bottom end?

I just picked up an older Coyote Bullet for myself and my son. I forgot how much fun karting is. Like most of us guys, good just isnt good enough. Im putting a stage 1 on the brand new Predator 212 and replacing the cluch and bearings. I hope this is a good sourse of info to help me get back...

Hi all. I just got a stage 1 upgrade for my predator 212 hemi from OMB. It came with an 8* timing advance key. Is 8* too much and what is the purpose of advancing the timing? Thanks.
