    I used to have a kart that had a drill motor. It worked fine. It went 11 mph w/ full battery. I'm only lookin' for somethin to cruise around the neighborhood.

    Just a thought, what if someoe OTHER than me, could get an electric trimmer and and put the motor on the back wheel, and the throttle either on the handle bar, or on a fix-mounted plate at the foot rest. Of course someone OTHER than me would have to disconnect the peddles..... It might be...

    The motor is going to be directly connected to the axle via belt. And my battery is a 24 v. Lithium battery.

    Do you even know what PVC is, Amar? It's plenty strong, and I only weigh 93 pounds. I'm not going to be driving over Mt. Everest or anything. It's a street kart.
