i have to get the rear done first. i really have not had any trouble with the front end yet . but at some point i thought doing the front end like a riding lawmower with a center pivot point. probably not the best but i have access to some parts that might work , what do you think?
suspension
Very cool. it is very different from what i had thought of but yours seems alot better i am sure i will be able to incorperate both ideas to make it work
thanks theo, that was exactly what i needed to have i think i can get some 12 " bike shocks for free so do you know how much travel there would be in those? approx.?
it is 3/4 . if i go with a larger dia. the rims accept only 3/4. expense is always an issue, i dont have much extra spending cash. if i could go to 1" and went down to 3/4 for the wheels would it be any stronger
shocks
is there a certain place that the pivot point has to be in relation to the angle of the shocks?
if i got some motor cycle shocks what would be the distance of travel they would have say on 13 1/2up to 16" ones?
i'm wanting to put swing arm suspension on my sons kart because the 3/4" axle I have on it now keeps bending (3rd time) has anybody got any tips or suggestions ( i'm quite new at this!)
