Ok. Lookin on ebay I found the 40 series clutch and driver pulley combo. Now before I order it I nedd to know what belt I need. Are all the 40 series belts universal or do I need a particular size?

welp. $350 is outta my price range. looks like a tractor type belt clutch is in this carts future.

And another question, engine is 1" keyed shaft, jackshaft (or other end of the tc) is 3/4". How do I know if the tc is the right size at both ends? They all just say 3/4" or 1".

All I can find are 5-9hp rated TCs. Were can I find a 40series?

think your right doc. I can tell theres been plenty of shooty work done to it. pretty shore they put bigger tires on it too cuz it barely turns before the tires contact the frame.

yeh. I havnt taken anything off. what you see is what I bought. I know nothing about TCs so I have no idea what you were saying. LOL I do know I would prefure to replace the whole thing aside from the backplate if I don't have to. think that would be possible?

this part reads; 20P3 comet industries. the back plate reas star presition, Michigan.

here they are. the red one is homemade with a artic cat motor. the orange/black one has a 13hp Honda and needs front tires, a brake caliper and a new torqe converter.

this is the one with the torqe converter. needs a caliper too but I have a used one that's good around here somewhere.

I bought a used kart with a 13hp Honda gx and a mostly missing torque converter. how do I find out what one I need to replace it? are they universal as far as hp?

I haven't even tried to start em. he says they turn over. I pick them up tomarow. ill try to post some pics. even if I can only part em out, its a good deal.

they aint known for there strength. you stould try a peerless 820. its multy speed and has a one inch axle.
