The bolt, jack shaft broke. I am working with a gear head, that’s what he calls himself, to upgrade the whole assembly as we speak. Apparently, this system is old and prone to failure. The upgrade is more reliable and doesn’t cost much. Thank you all for your help and just plain awesomeness.

Jack shaft. That sounds right. Yeah. It’s a threaded bold that the sprocket is on. Do you happen to know where to find a replacement? Thank you again for helping a noob!

Does anyone know what the bolt part for this is and where I can purchase a replacement?
