I actually got it installed today. Shaved the fins off of the plate so now the chain flows very nicely. It's got some nice get up and go power. Very happy to finally have it running. Thanks to all you guys who helped me. Big shout out to mysteryboy....he shared a lot of great knowledge. Thanks again

Thanks for the help. I'll try grinding off some of the fins so that the chain will flow freely. When I talked to the guy about the part(talked with the manager down in San Antonio at bullet lines) he assured me the tc was rated for motors between 8-13 hp. So I'm assuming this is just fluff?

I've got a 9hp honda motor(not a clone), gx 270. After burning up my clutch I did some research and decided to go with a torque converter. 30 series CVT Tav-2. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems when bolting this up. I cant get my bolt patterns to line up properly when I install it...

If it is 60 tooth, the sprocket they are sending me is 10tooth which I'm assuming would be a 6 to 1 gear ratio. Is that good or bad? It is a 40/41 chain/pitch

Nah man, I fried that sucker in about 5 mins after i fired up the motor and ran it around. I guess with the weight of the cart and the big tires it through the gearing off, I'm not sure. All I know is the 1" bore clutch cost me $100 and the guy on ebay didnt offer to refund me, any or partial
