    Suzuki quad bike 1980

1 year I think. It has 1 year old gas in it, so it doesn't run that well. I would ride my go-kart, but the bearings are totaled and the clutch sparks. If the go-kart is still, the clutch messes up and shuts the engine off. ---------- Post added at 10:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01...

    Suzuki quad bike 1980

I'm not so sure that it can shift. Oh, and it has 4775 or so miles on it. I have to check for bee nests on it, there were a bunch of bees floatin' around where I bought it.

    Suzuki quad bike 1980

$125 bucks got me a suzuki quad from the 1980's. The brakes are frozen, carburetor is clogged, tires need aired up, but it's looking pretty good. It has no suspension at all sadly, but at least it can shift. I have no idea how to shift with it because the sticker is torn.. It has headlights, and...

    Axle is trash!!

I'm still working on my barn find. The engine is trash, it knocks and stalls out too much but it works. Steering arm is bent, ugly yellow paint, no rollover bars at all. So far I fixed the pedals, the engine runs a bit better, I fixed the snapped throttle cable, and had to re-weld the axle...

Well, there's a live wire that sparks when it touches a conducive object. That could have hit the chain, and then ignited the oil there.

Is it possible to add suspension to a suspensionless go-kart?

This go-cart was a mess when I found it. The engine had bad gas, it was yellow and didn't combust at all. The carburetor was clogged up pretty bad, so it went at least 3 Mph. Nasty seat, only a seat belt buckle, no belt. The wheel fell off, and was welded back on horribly, which later ended up...

Barn Find 1983 Odyssey with 440cc Polaris 2 stroke!!

Careful, there might be a reason why it wasn't used. Before using it, I would advise you take the engine out and have it running to make sure nothing goes wrong, such as fuel leaks, overheating clutch, etc. I had a find that leaked gas on the muffler.

Is it possible to add suspension to a suspensionless go-kart?

My yard isn't the best for go-karting because it's bumpy. I got a go kart with no suspension whatsoever, and the landing is hard when I get airborne. What could I do with it suspension-wise? I already bent the steering arm on a landing, and I have nothing to absorb the impact. Also, I need a...

Engine issues, and caught on fire.

I ride it on bumpy ground, i'd get tossed all the time without the belt.

Engine issues, and caught on fire.

I didn't spill gas everywhere, and I need a seat belt. This has no roll-over bars and goes extremely fast, even with the choke on. The carburetor is screwed up, and it still gets up to 45 mph. It did, however, burn me and melted my jacket. I have the gas cap on tight, and the oil cap on tight...

Engine issues, and caught on fire.

Hello. I've had a go-kart for quite some time now, and it's had some issues on the way. The axle snapped twice, welded it back on twice. It has no suspension and I'm riding it on a bumpy lawn, with the front tires kinda flat. Recently, the engine caught on fire while I was riding it. The chain...
