it did okay with just the 5 hp that was on it when i got it.i rode it some before doing updates. new tires are same size as old ones.

updates on progress. new predator 212 engine,seat,tires and wheels on back,disk brake caliber,throttle cable hooked up and operating good. next just need to align sprockets and pulleys. then just want to check out front end real good. gearing is staying stock for now,have not counted teeth on...

some more freebies i don't need. size is 18x9.5-8 one of them has a slow leak.no holes or gashes in them.

if anyone close to me has a need for this 5hp engine it is free for all. no shipping available,pickup only. it may need a crank shaft,i had to cut about 1/8 inch off to get tq off. i live in kannapolis,nc about 25 miles n/e of charlotte.

was told by who i bought it from carb had been changed. the red bracket was the throttle cable which had a tendency to hang wide open throttle. will just keep polishing shaft and soaking it in wd40 or penetrating oil.

have already cleaned the shaft until it is shiny.have let it soak for hours with both penetrating oil and wd40.

well have gotten the outside of the driver pulley off but can't get the inside pulley off.it will come out to the edge of shaft and stops.used a puller gently,didn't want to bend pulley with no luck.have tried to drive key way back with a punch with no luck. any ideas or suggestions? thanks in...

well after much thought decided to go with the 6.5 hp predator instead of the 8hp. i also may replace the torque converter too.trying now to find a new throttle cable but all i am finding are to long. as for the old engine once i get it replaced i am willing to give it to someone who has a need...

got it home.can tell it is going to need a seat,throttle cable.he told me he hit a tree is reason front is bent a little.welded bolt in t/c was already welded when he got it and he never tried to take it out.he put some gas in it and it started up.carb was leaking and guess it is flooded now...

looks like a dingo from what i have seen on other posts.was trying to figure out which torque converter it has from looking at pictures but looks like i will have to wait until i get it in hand sunday.
